Quality ServiceCannon Sline has long known that one of the fundamental duties of management is to assure that our services meet requirements. Quality is conformance to established requirements. For four decades, Cannon Sline has tracked and used quality information with a Quality Assurance Program designed and periodically updated to meet or exceed the requirements of the protective coating industry. Cannon Sline's management understands the costs of quality deviations (rework) and has said many times "Unquestionably the first step of productivity is Quality". Born in the nuclear age, Cannon Sline's Quality Assurance Program has been and is a leader in the most stringent of protective coating arenas. The Quality Assurance and General Painting Program used in general industry today is built on the solid foundation of our Safety Related Nuclear Coatings Program. Cannon Sline has numerous coatings inspectors and supervisors that are certified through prominent national organizations such as: ANSI, ASTM, SSPC, and NACE. We have achieved our goal set forth on December of 1992 to have certified professionals on our projects. This program is administered by Cannon Sline's Quality Assurance Manager who's sole responsibility is to maintain standards and continuously improve the quality assurance of our company. Currently Cannon Sline's projects are audited in a number of ways for assurance of conformance to requirements. Methods utilized range from full time dedicated inspection to intermittent quality appraisals depending on the customer's wishes. Cannon Sline knows well the cost of quality. Our pro-active management has chosen the path of prevention and appraisal over that of correction of deviations. |
