False Ceiling

Building repair and replacement projects above production equipment and operations personnel are possible without interrupting the production process. Excessive “down time” of the production process can be eliminated by the installation of a false ceiling or temporary subfl oor, above the operating equipment while it is in operation. this “isolation barrier” functions as a safe work platform offering easy access for workmen and maintenance repair of equipment in the work area.

Erection of the False Ceiling

• Install temporary work platform on overhead "traveling bridge crane"
• Install aluminum interlocking panels and/or an aluminum I-Beam plywood deck system "on the run"
• Seal entire work platform area utilizing fire retardant reinforced polyethylene tars
• Construct temporary end walls, seal all opening to provide a controlled work space guaranteeing an air tight enclosure system

After erection and sealing of the work enclosure and protection of adjacent surfaces and equipment, it is now possible to perform virtually any type of construction, maintenance or refurbishment work without the interruption of on-going plant operations.
